I would like to extend my thanks to all who participated in the 2019 Conquer the Canuck as well as all those who contributed by sponsoring, volunteering and sharing our event with fellow runners and friends.

Our new change for CTC in 2021 will be the introduction of the 67.195 km Classic Canuck two day staged event. This event will replace 2019's 12 hour race and compliment the continued growth of the concept of our Conquer the Canuck Marathon Ultra Trail weekend and logistics involved in hosting this event over the two days.

I will also be introducing a new timed event series in the Fall of 2021.  See the Canuck 2-4-6 section in the above toolbar, for details.

Shade's Mills has been called the best-kept secret in Cambridge. Favourite activities in this day-use area include swimming, sport fishing and canoeing. The conservation area has 12 km of hiking trails through a mature hardwood forest that winds along Mill Creek. There is good fishing for northern pike, perch, largemouth and smallmouth bass in the 32-hectare (80 acre) reservoir behind Shade's Mills dam. It is open for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and ice fishing during the winter.

Be sure to check in often to keep in touch with all current updates.

Happy trails,

Race Director,

Tony Martin
