Course Features:
- 8.33 km loop
- Due to the fact that Conquer the Canuck is an insured and sanctioned event, pets are not allowed to accompany participants on the course.
- Marathon and Stage 2 Classic and Ultimate Canuck runners will run an additional 545 meter distance once, prior to heading out on the 8.33 km loop, for 5 loops, to complete the 42.195 km required distance
- 8 hr maximum time limit for all distance events each day
- Over 80% shaded
- Overall elevation gain/loss of approximately 92 meters per loop making this a faster course than most Ontario trail races
- Well groomed trail. Mostly grass, wood chips in sections, and natural trail with less than 200 meters of gravel.
- Course can accommodate two to three runners side by side
- No pacers permitted.
- No spikes permitted on trail
- One mile and all kilometers will be marked
- Time for one mile mark will be called out each day
- Portable washrooms will be located at start/finish, 2.4 km, 6 km
- Race results will be posted with regular updates at the start/finish area
- Championship timing provided by Speed River Timing
- The official start/finish will be located at the main trail shelter near the boat launch.
