2 Hour Training Run - 9 am til 11 am

Come and check out the venue for the upcoming Conquer the Canuck Marathon Ultra Trail Weekend on Saturday April 1st. We will be running the 8.33 km loop that will be used on race day! Runners training for longer races may choose to run longer then 11 am. Flags and km marking will be removed from the course at 1pm.
We have altered the course for this event slightly and have added a new section we like to call "the jewel" located just past the 4.5 km mark. We have also adjusted the finish section of the loop so that all of our spectators have a better view of the participants as they approach the start/finish on each loop. This will reduce congestion near the beach area.

Course will be marked for each km marking and have flags on all turns. Our aid station will have bottled water, bananas and cookies.
Entrance to the Conservation area, between 8-9 am, is $10 per participant which includes your gate entry fee, aid station and a 16 oz smoothie. The smoothies are made fresh by our local sponsor ReJive Replenish Station. They are located just 5 minutes away at the LA Fitness. All smoothies will be delivered at 11 am sharp. Runners must RSVP, in advance, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate their choice of smoothie and have $10 cash available as you enter the conservation. Our volunteer will be collecting and checking off your name during this time slot. The smoothie order will be placed at 9:15 am.
If you want to enter the park outside of the 8-9 am window, the cost will be $12 per carload, at the gate, using the automated entry and the smoothie option will not be available.
